IUOE Local 70 Covid-19 

IUOE Local 70:

We are minimally staffing our offices and Business Agents are encouraged to work from home and to conduct as much business as possible online, over the phone , or via USPS. Most employers are not taking meetings or allowing us on site. We are conducting as much business as possible with the assistance of technology and will continue to as the situation requires. If you have questions or concerns about Coronavirus in the workplace, please review your employer’s current protocols as they are changing often.  If you find yourself unemployed during this emergency or have other questions, please check the resources at the bottom of this page:

Central Pension Fund:

The Central Pension Fund in DC is closed until April 3rd.  They are completely closed, no calls, no emails no nothing. 

ITEC Crosby Training Center:

The temporary suspension of all training classes and regular operations at the ITEC (International training &Education Center ) will need to be extended.  Accordingly, barring any additional extenuating circumstances, the ITEC is now currently scheduled to reopen and resume all training classes and regular operations on Monday, April 20, 2020. UPDATED: Closure has been extended until April 30th

FMCS:

Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services  is not allowed to meet face to face and will be conducting mediations online when practical.
